Part of this project is having a mentor to help and guide you through whatever you want accomplish. For me the best option is my mom. Prior to some knee issues she would run all the time, she is onboard with me getting into running and she's got plenty of tricks and tips for me to complete my goals and prevent me from injury. She's already taught and provided me with some helpful advice as well as given me plenty of pre-running stretches to help keep me loose.
